Flowers and more flowers. Done with Derwent Inktense Pencils on 16″ x 20″ Carson Artboard. Inktense is like watercolor pencils, the only difference is once water is applied, it’s permanent. One tip I used was, if you outline in color pencils, it will help with the bleeding. So, I used Prismacolor pencil on the outline.

I am calling this drawing Sunflower Explosion, because it kind of exploded out of the mandala it was supposed to be contained within.

This mandala was create on 16″ x 20″ Carson Black Art Board using Sakura Metallic pens. It did not come out exactly as I expected, but the lines did provide a basket effect.

I first sketched in a grid using circles and lines, then I applied the color.

I decided to do some drawing on large drawing boards, 16″ x 20″ This drawing was done on Carson Black Art Board using Sakura Metallic Pens. I used a compass and ruler to draw the grid lines for the drawing, and than I created the pattern using only lines.
