Flowers and more flowers. Done with Derwent Inktense Pencils on 16″ x 20″ Carson Artboard. Inktense is like watercolor pencils, the only difference is once water is applied, it’s permanent. One tip I used was, if you outline in color pencils, it will help with the bleeding. So, I used Prismacolor pencil on the outline.
Below is the result of my experiment with Derwent Inktense pencils. These pencils work by adding color to the paper and applying water. Once dry, the ink is permanent. Watercolor pencils and paint you can remoisten.
The drawing was done of watercolor paper with Micron pens.
Do you see the stars in the mandala?
I learned something today; Derwant Intense Color Pencils are water soluble. The drawing today was inspired by yesterday’s drawing. I like the skinning swirls.
A Little Swirl
