Tulsa Botanic Garden
If you are ever near Tulsa, Oklahoma, anywhere near Tulsa, the trip to Tulsa Botanic Gardens is worth the trip. Even the drive to this remote location, north-west of Tulsa, is beautiful with it’s rolling hills and trees. The garden is absolutely gorgeous. Wear sunscreen, because you may want to stay all day. Wear inset repellent, because you probably will want to take the 1.5 mile nature hike.
Independence Botanical Gardens
Baton Rouge has made a lot of improvement to their Botanical Garden since my last trip. I will need to make another trip for better pictures.
None of my trips turn out how I expect.
Memphis, Tennessee
What is there to do in Memphis, Tennessee that doesn’t involve music, where you can take picture and be outside on a summer day? After many web searches, I found it! The Memphis Botanical Gardens.
This place was huge, several different gardens, lots of plants, and plenty of photos opportunities. And, it was hot, but very quiet and relaxing. There is plenty to see in the gardens.
