The Museum of World Treasure is located in Wichita, Kansas. It contain artifacts from ancient Rome, Greece and Egypt. Their military exhibits dates from the Civil War to the fall of the Berlin Wall. As you enter the museum, T-Rex Ivan welcomes you.
Head up the stairs you are greeted by a suit of armour.
One of my goals when I visit a museum is to capture patterns, and ancient pottery works contains the most interesting designs. Along with rock formations.
The military exhibit contained the normal items you see at most exhibits, but it did have original letters written from that period of time. By today’s standards, these handwriting is a work of art. So, I wonder if the kids today did not know what the U.S. Constitution says, because the can no longer read it.
In a corner, where most people would miss seeing the display, are two tapestries. These were the most beautiful items on display at the museum.
Its finally here! 18 months later and I have added a new drawing to my Coloring Page . It is available for anyone to download and color. It was so much fun to create and color this drawing. I think I will need to create more drawings. I already have an idea for the next one. This drawing was created and colored using Corel Draw.
Here are a few examples how I colored the drawing. Be creative, color them to you desires. Mostly, have fun.
The Wichita Art Museum exhibits work honoring women artists, pre-Columbian artifacts, glass works, and other sculptures and paintings. I found Kay Sekimachi’s Leaf Bowl a fascinating work of art.
The artist of the glass painting did a remarkable job capturing the light reflections.
The museum had some beautiful glass works.
One of the most interesting items in the museum was the history of the Corning Glass Works. Most of us have use Corning dishes. They made the first light bulb for Thomas Edison.
The blown glass exhibit featuring Richard Marquis was entertaining. His glass work was unique, humorous and creative.
Finally, the sculpture titled “Bed” by Lloyd Glasson was amazing.
2020 has been a year of basically being stuck at home. Individuals have found new, or old ways, to entertain themselves from cooking to gardening to home repair. However, their are a few of us that have spend countless hours creating 3D masterpieces in Tinkercad.
I have personally have created eight buildings, one wagon, a horse, a piano and many more items to go in my Railroad Town. Many others have created amazing design. Michael, Josiah, Nightfuzzbal, and Dhruw are working as a team to recreate the Middle-Earth Lord of the Rings designs. Their designs are amazing. Here are my latest fluid paintings. I used a lot of color and finished them with resin.

Below are batches 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of my polymer clay roses with leaves and stems.
Batch 2:
I took some white clay and blended one edge with some pink clay. The leaves and stems contains three shades of green and gold clay.
Batch 3:
The center of the roses were made from the clay left over from Batch 2. However, there wasn’t enough for three flowers, so I mix a little red with the pink and white for the outer petals.
Batch 4:
I wanted some flowers that glowed in the dark. I mixed bright pink, yellow, and orange clay with some florescent clay.
Batch 5:
These red roses were also mixed with some florescent clay, but they do not shine as well as the pink roses in Batch 4.
Batch 6:
I had just finished the yellow sunflower vase and wanted some yellow roses to put in the vase. But, yellow roses would just be too plain. The rose color from stem to the petal tips are hot pink, orange, yellow, and lemon yellow.
Batch 7:
Some more vase inspired flowers. I used the leftover clay from the vase. I gently it mixed together to make the roses.
